Jessica Yong
Advanced Gymnastics

Jessica Yong is an experienced gymnastics teacher, national and international judge, and former competitive gymnast who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a safe, positive, and motivating environment.

As an ex-gymnast herself, Jessica understands the challenges children face in gymnastics and knows how to guide them through proper technique, discipline, and confidence-building. She believes in encouraging every child while also pushing them to achieve more than they thought possible.

At Lil’ Ninjas Dojo, Jessica teaches the Advanced Gymnastics Class, where she prepares children for gymnastics tournaments and competitions. Her training focuses on strong foundations, correct technique, routine preparation, and mental readiness, ensuring students are confident and well-prepared for competitive settings.

With strong qualifications in sport science, coaching, and judging—including National Judging Levels 1, 2, and 3 and the FIG Women’s Artistic Gymnastics International Judges Course—Jessica brings a high standard of coaching to every class. Her judging experience allows her to train gymnasts with a clear understanding of competition requirements and performance expectations.

Jessica also has training in sports nutrition and athlete development, helping her support children’s overall wellbeing alongside their athletic progress. Parents can trust that their children are coached with care, structure, and purpose, while being challenged to grow stronger, more confident, and more capable both in gymnastics and in life.
