As adults, many of us may experience chronic body aches and stiffness as we pass age 35. The main reason for this is our sedentary lifestyle and improper development of muscles, posture and joint strength when we were younger. You can easily help your children avoid these same conditions as they get older by signing them up for gymnastics class which helps to build proper muscle balance and functional strength.

Gymnastics is a sport that focuses on developing  balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, endurance and functional strength.

The exercises and routines in gymnastics  contributes to the proper development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups. With proper and balanced development of these major muscle groups, gymnastics is also a great foundation for other sports and martial arts as it conditions the body to be in its best form for these sports. In short, a person who does gymnastics will perform and advance better in any sport, compared to a person who only trains that particular sport alone.


Gymnastics evolved from exercises used by the ancient Greeks which was used to train soldiers and ensure they were well conditioned for battle. Today, the 2 most common forms of gymnastics is Artistic Gymnastics and Rhythmic Gymnastics and is also an Olympic sport. In our dojo, children as young as 1 years old can begin their journey into gymnastics in a safe and conducive environment. We have different levels of classes for children to specifically designed to accommodate different level of skill. Below are the different level of classes we offer.

Music & Movement - 1.5  year old to 3 years old

Music & Movement or M&M for short is a unique gym class specially designed for toddlers which is a mix of gymnastics and dancing making it a super fun class for toddlers. This class focuses on developing their balance and other basic movements such as walking, jumping, balancing and climbing up and climbing down.


Junior Gymnastics - 3 years old to 6 years old

Want your kids to be fit and build functional strength? This class focuses on improving children's motor skills as well as developing strong healthy muscle and functional fitness which will give them the edge in any sport they play. They will also learn some of the basic skills of Gymnastics.

Intermediate Gymnastics - 6 years old to 12 years old

Advanced Gymnastics is a progression class which specially developed to prepare children for higher skill levels and even competitions. Special emphasis is given in developing focused muscle groups to ensure they are able to perform the gymnastics skills properly

Gymnastics X - 12 years and older

This is the most advanced level of Gymnastics at our dojo. This class mainly focuses on building core strength and functional strength (eg. vertical rope climb, horizontal monkey bars and more) and also advanced gymnastics skills. One parent even called this class Ninja Warrior Class as many of the exercises and moves look similar to what was is shown on the popular TV Show Ninja Warrior.
