Ballet

It's elegant, it's stylish and most of all, it's FUN. Join our Ballet Classes and discover the difference in how we teach Ballet in a unique manner that makes it fun for younger children. For ages 4 and up

Ballet is an artistic dance style performed to music which originated during the Italian Renaissance in the 15th century and later developed into a concert dance form in France and Russia. It has since become a widespread and highly technical form of dance with its own vocabulary. Getting your children started on Ballet, will allow them to pick up other dancing styles with ease in future. This is because, the way ballet is taught, helps to condition their body and muscles making it easier for them to advance in other styles of dance.

What are the benefits of ballet? When your child learns ballet:

  • They learn to follow instructions

  • They gain a sense of discipline through learning new positions

  • They learn co-ordination, balance and how to control their bodies in motion

  • They are active and getting daily exercise

  • They become comfortable performing in front of people

  • Improve Flexibility

At Lil' Ninjas Dojo we have a unique way of teaching ballet to younger children which allows them to explore and discover ballet in a fun way, rather than being too serious. In short, we want to ensure their first exposure to Ballet is an enjoyable one, so that they will continue to learn and explore.
