Hailing all the way from Sweden is our Aikido Master - Sensei Kirill. For those who are unfamiliar, Aikido is a Martial Art that originates from Japan and was popularised by Hollywood Actor Steven Seagal. Aikido is a martial arts that focuses on using your opponents own momentum in an attack back against them. Hence this martial arts teaches you to gain an advantage from a bigger and stronger opponent.

Sensei Kirill is an instructor with Aikido Shudokan Malaysia for over 8 years. Kirill has taught classes at the permanent premises in Kota Damansara, George Town Penang and Seri Kembangan teaching students from the age of 5 up to 60 years old. He holds a second degree black belt in Yoshikan Aikido with a Certified Instructor’s License from Nisshikan Japan. Kirill is true international martial artist and has participated in seminars and taught in Indonesia, Singapore, Australia, Japan, U.K, Poland. He has also had the opportunity to train with world renowed martial artists such as Inoue Kyoichi Kancho (10th Dan Aikido), Joe Thambu Shihan (8th Dan Aikido), Robert Mustards Shihan (8th Dan Aikido), Tsuneno Ando Shihan (8th Dan Aikido), Tsutomo Chida Shihan (8th Dan Aikido), Jaques Payet (8th Dan Aikido) and others.

Sensei Kirill puts a high emphasis on discipline in his class as martial arts cannot be learned without first instilling discipline into students. His classes are structured well and he takes time and patience to explain things in a simple manner that kids will understand. His classes are high energy and lots of fun, but no goofing around is allowed.
